Bathroom fan turns on with the light and is very noisy. Heating unit also nosier than usual.

Good Location and Value
We chose to stay in Flagstaff so that we were in a town, but within a short distance from Williams, where we were taking the Grand Canyon Scenic Railway. We chose the Highland Country Inn because of its location and price. The hotel is a good value-and in a great location. It's within walking distance of the historic part of town, where there are shops and restaurants. There is also a coffee shop right next to the Inn where there is great coffee and breakfast sandwiches or pastries. The room was very clean, beds were comfortable and were equipped with a small fridge and microwave. We were given a Wi-Fi password which was easy to access. The temperature in the room was easy to regulate and not noisy. The room was not plush or fancy, but it had everything we needed. We were pleased with the choice.

Good basic accommodation
Old style motel, nicely maintained inside the rooms. Walking distance from train station and downtown.

Good for a one-night stand
This was an OK place to stay for one night. The entrance to the property is at a corner with access on one street only, not the street that is the address by the way. Google wanted me to turn right and I saw from the traffic light that doing so would be a mistake. Getting out of the property requires a right turn, unless at 6:30 am, and a u-turn to get where you need to go. Were I going to be in Flagstaff longer than one night, I’d check out other options.
