Highland Country Inn
I go to Flagstaff several times a year for hiking and found Highland Country Inn perfect for a clean, comfortable stay at an affordable price. This is not a 5 star hotel with all the amenities but if you want a comfortable place to stay, this is the place. Coffee and tea are in the lobby, the room was spacious and the bed comfortable. It's next door is a local coffee shop and a short walk to a breakfast and lunch place. Downtown restaurants seemed a little far to walk after hiking all day, but maybe only a mile away. I will stay there again.

Good Location and Value
We chose to stay in Flagstaff so that we were in a town, but within a short distance from Williams, where we were taking the Grand Canyon Scenic Railway. We chose the Highland Country Inn because of its location and price. The hotel is a good value-and in a great location. It's within walking distance of the historic part of town, where there are shops and restaurants. There is also a coffee shop right next to the Inn where there is great coffee and breakfast sandwiches or pastries. The room was very clean, beds were comfortable and were equipped with a small fridge and microwave. We were given a Wi-Fi password which was easy to access. The temperature in the room was easy to regulate and not noisy. The room was not plush or fancy, but it had everything we needed. We were pleased with the choice.
