Safe and good proximity to I-20. Clean and A/C worked well. They offer a little peace & quiet for a reasonable price. What else could one want?

Very noisy, needs some type of landscaping and general grounds clean-up. I know this is really an oil workers' camp, but it seems the owners are striving to make it more. For the price they are charging, it needs an upgrade.

One Night Stand
Been a while since I've stayed in Midland, but this was a throw back to the old days. This is really an oil field camp, designed for long term stays. Rooms were comfortable, never did meet the manager or whoever runs the desk, almost opened an occupied cabin, but the stay was what we needed - a place for a night of rest on the road.

I made the reservation online hours before I showed up. I arrived no manager was on-site I called the number and was told it would be 30 min and was given the room I was to be in. I went to the room about 5 min early and it was dark. I waited the 30 min because I was told the door would be open. It was locked so I called and was told to wait he was gonna call his cleaning lady mind you ths is 7:30 pm. After a few min he came back on the line and reluctantly gave me the code for the door and I opened the door but it was someone else’s room. I locked the door and called back. He said to give him 5 min. I waited no call I figured let him do his thing. I went to dinner before I got there he called back and told me to call when I was back he had a room for me. After dinner I came back called and was put in a bigger cabin. The bed was a little soft for me and all the heaters were on so it was hot. But it was more comfortable. I did mention I was going to extend my stay but wasn’t sure the day yet. The following day at about 3 I was told Sunday or Monday we would be done working I see the message from the manager that I had to pack up my stuff and have to make any changes in person because they are full. I called and was asking if I can go to work in the am and come back I carry a lot of equipment for work inside my truck and I’m the back. Having all my belongings doesn’t work for me. After work at 8pm I check he said he forgot about me and was gonna put me back in the same room.
