Great value!
Slept like a baby! Safe, clean, comfy, friendly. Excellent location with several restaurants in walking distance. Not fancy but excellent choice for a hot shower and good sleep. Plenty of choices at the free breakfast to start the day. Definitely recommend!

Retro stay
Cute retro place with a fun vibe on the main road. Quiet off street location, clean room. It’s older but clean and in good repair.

8/10 Very Good

A good value
Reminded me of the motor lodges of bygone days. Bathroom small, but looked newly remodeled, very nice. We had a queen room, and it was pretty small. Only cable TV for those of you who care. Good WiFi. All rooms look out onto the parking lot so if guests are not conscientious about noise, you will hear it. I'm very picky about mattresses and pillows - theirs are so-so. New pillows might help, and provide 4, not 3. There's a cute fridge/freezer in the room and a coffeemaker. There's a microwave and toaster in the office and a BBQ out by the pool. It was disappointing that we weren't able to use the pool. It wasn't open. However, they had an arraignment with the Best Western half a block down the street to use their pool. Also, your free breakfast is served at the BW. It is dog friendly and has a small enclosed area where your dog can be off-leash. That was a nice touch. I will say the location is terrific in relation to what you might want to see and do in Kanab and surrounding area. Overall, we were pleased with our choice.

Great basic hotel
Rooms were "vintage" and were very clean. Breakfast is at the Best Western- a very short walk away. Breakfast included waffles, cereal, breads, eggs, sausage, fruit, yogurt, etc. The pool was closed while we were there but we were told we could use the Best Western pool (I guess they are sister hotels?). Their pool was great! Rooms were a little dark. A lamp on the desk would be nice. Front desk is only open 3-10 pm. We arrived after 10 pm and checked in through the Best Western- no problem. No housekeeping right now due to covid. We actually prefer no housekeeping. We did run out of toilet paper though (we were able to get some from the Best Western front desk since it was not during the front desk hours at Aiken Lodge). We would stay again.

6/10 Good

Adorable hotel; lack of amenities promised/paid
First, our experience upon check-in was just fabulous. Thanks to the young man who was working the afternoon we arrived, tired after a long day hiking/park-hopping! Second, the overall property and room, concept, is just adorable!! Really well done. Comfortable. Beds are great, large spacious room (omg - that refrigerator!! So stinking cute!), and a good shower... All appreciated. I also really loved the chairs and little table outside. A really nice touch. But then there are the following issues: 1. There was no morning reception clerk on duty. At all. Office shuttered, locked, and no information. (we needed a simple box of tissues... couldn't not get) This happened both mornings of our two night stay. 2. No breakfast on property. We could see the coffee maker in the locked office... but were told that we could walk down the street to Best Western for breakfast. So here's the thing: Rather than telling a paying guest that "we don't have staff for breakfast service, but Best Western is just down the street" ---- you need to tell your staff that "Aiken is just down the street" and send someone down each morning with coffee and packaged pastries, yogurt, and fruit. Or cut your price and let us deal with breakfast on our own. The breakfast at Best Western was crap. Not one single person I saw (self included) who walked down returned with anything other than a cup of coffee. Several walked in, looked around, and left. Not worth it. And definitely not in cold wind!

Just what we needed
We had a fine stay at this hotel before embarking on a multi-day camping trip. The large family suite room worked out perfectly for our group of three. Very happy with the choice to stay here and would certainly return again.
