Satisfactory hotel in a great location.
Nice hotel in great location. The central heating system wasn’t working purportedly only in my room but I was provided with a portable electric convection heater and another blanket, so the room temperature was o.k. for sitting in the room and sleeping. The room itself was in good condition with a comfortable king-size bed.

great for a city sleepover - just one concern.
Hotel is really good for a 3 star hotel. Location was excellent - just a short walk to most places we wanted to visit in Montreal. Staff were friendly, bed was comfortable. Our only concern, which we didn't notice until we were leaving, was that the smoke detector had been removed from the room, and also, there was a door stop on the outside of the bedroom door. Anyone could have wandered down the hallway in the night and locked us in the room. With both of these things as they are, it's a potential fire trap. Apart from this I'd have given it a top rating. As a one-night sleepover in the city, at a reasonable price, it was everything we needed.
