Petit Palace Opera, Madrid
Great location and friendly staff
Amazing location if you are a tourist, helpful and friendly staff at front desk, and lovely breakfast spread. I hope they expand the lift/elevator, it is way too small for a hotel this size. A family of 3 with some luggage will need to take two trips.

great location
the hotel is 2 mins from Sol and 4 mins from Plaza Mayor, restaurants shopping are right at the doorstep. loved the location. the breakfast is really nice. my only complain is the service of the cleaning stuff, they generally don't replenish toiletry if not asked, and most of the time they are out of body lotion or dental kits

Good stay
Excellent location and service. Bathrooms are very tight and no place to put toiletries.

OK but disappointed.
They promised us access to a wheelchair for one of the days of our stay, but never delivered, which put a damper on sightseeing in 100+ F degree weather. AC worked, but it was either on or off...the thermostat did not work. Location very nice with access to many sights and restaurants.

Small cozy hotel in prime location
The small historic looking hotel is comfortable. The staff were friendly and accommodating. What I loved most about this hotel was the location to everything. There were two metro locations close to the hotel for different lines which made it very easy to get around. It was also close to several restaurants that stayed open late at night and Gines Chocolataria that is open 24 hours. There were so many people outside all the time I never felt unsafe. Though is wasn't the most luxurious hotel, (the shower would sometimes run hot to cold to hot, you could hear other rooms, and there was barely walking area around the bed) I would book it again in a heartbeat because of the proximity to everything.
