disrespect, religious persecution and mistreatment
We smelled pot seeping into our room from the room above. We called the desk and asked the night manager to contact the police which they did. Upon investigation the room above ours reeked with pot smoke. Due to minors in our group, I asked for a different room however the hotel was sold out. The night staff offered to clean the room, however I also felt that there should be a refund for that one room. The hotel manager was contacted and was furious, cursing, slamming doors, and a hostile glare at me when he asked if there was a problem. I informed him of the situation, he said he could smoke clean the room and would refund the room cost, and then stated, "I hope this makes you and your god happy." (We are a church youth group.) I was shocked at such behavior. After he continued to verbally abuse his night staff (two teenagers by the way who were only doing their job) I felt not only responsible for the safety of our group but also unsafe with this man acting like a lit fuse, so we gathered our things and checked out. I can only hope this poor excuse of a manager gets fired as soon as possible, and that the management of this establishment takes seriously the fact that drugs were being used in their establishment, not to mention smoking which in Utah carries at least a $100 fine for doing so in ANY hotel.

Good stay but rude front desk staff.
It was a poor check in experience -very rude front desk staff. Otherwise hotel and the amenities are good. We specifically enjoyed the on site pool, hot tub, 24 hr coffee/tea in the lobby and proximity to the local attractions. Management should focus on improving that first experience and their hotel can get better rating.

Great service and cute motel, need updates though.
This hotel was super cute and they worked with us when he had to come a day late. The customer service was wonderful and the pool was warm but had paint chipped at the bottom that we cut our feet on. The room was amazing and had 2 double beds and a twin which was perfect for our family, however the bed was broken in the middle and sinking in which cause us to both roll to the middle and was very uncomfortable. The bathroom was huge and spacious and very clean. I would definitely go back as long as I had a more comfortable bed to sleep in. When you are driving for days it's the one time to be out of the car and feel rested and we didn't wake up feeling refreshed and ready to go again. Aside from the few minor things I noted, the hotel and town were great!

Tread lightly with the manager
Hotel manager was rude. After anext early days at arches I asked the front desk if they could clean my room so I could take a nap. The hotel manager told me "they will get there when they get there, twice... customer service... very poor... rude is the one word that describes today's interaction with the manager.

Mediocre stay
Not bad, but not great. We got a room where the roof impeded the view almost entirely. Staff seemed perfunctory. Internet was slow and unreliable. There are lots of other choices in the area--we'd choose another place another time.
