Stay elsewhere if you have the means to
The price point was good, especially considering the location. The hotel was clean, hottub was large and great. I will say the rooms were comfortable, but do not seem very “insulated” from noise - we were easily woken up at night and early in the AM from people opening doors, stomping (seemingly), walking up the stairs, etc. we could hear everything - I could assume it was just a inconsiderate guest above us, but we could also hear adjacent rooms and in the hallways. Generally most chain hotels I stay at are much quieter. The MAIN reason I will not likely stay here again, is the guy at the front desk (I assume he was the owner or at least manager) was unwelcoming, unfriendly, and generally pretty rude everytime we saw him. He made My family uncomfortable in the hotel, and gave attitude and PUNK answers to the questions we would ask. 1 question in particular, we asked very kindly if there was a bike locker or somewhere to store our bikes (assuming he would not want bike in the rooms if possible) His answer: “you can keep them in the room but I will charge you a PREMIUM if you damage our rooms, and if you get mud on our towels I will charge you a PREMIUM”...everything’s a PREMIUM,PREMIUM,PREMIUM! This guy was a real A-hole, and I’m a pretty patient, laidback, and nice guy. A lady was at the front desk 1 of the nights we came into the lobby, & she was sweet & helpful, unlike the a-hole dude. if you’re in a pinch it’s not a bad place to stay, but if you can, look elsewhere.

Sept. 18 Stay
Our room was very basic, one bed, one lamp, one hard chair. It served our purpose of a bed near Bryce NP bur we were glad we didn't need to spend to much awake time in the room!

Too much money for what you get.
We had a toilet valve problem and toilet sink faucet problem which they fixed. The noisy air conditioning overcame the street noise. The male concierge said there are no fast food place nearby but we fond Wendy’s, Mc Donald and BurgerKing.

Very Good8.0
We were there on a very busy weekend, and River Canyon Lodge, as well as the other hotels in the town, were at capacity. Unfortunately, that means that the combined number of visitors completely overwhelmed the WiFi capacity. The lobby was filled with people complaining that they couldn't connect. We were two of them.
