Almost Perfect!
Wonderful! Perfect location! Lovely staff! Clean, efficent room! Only negative for me was lack of restaurant. As a writer with mobility issues, traveling for work, going out to eat after a long, exhausting day was not an option. My busy schedule made shopping for and cooking food a real problem. PS: If you go in summer, make sure your room has air-conditioning.

Fabulous location near all the action but quiet!
This location is the best!!! It's right in the heart of the old city - bars, the river, footbridge to the really old part with restaurants, the shopping street with lots of activity. But our room was quiet, modern, spacious and air conditioned. The beds were comfortable, bathroom clean, shower worked - loved this hotel. We walked to the Sunday market on the river and bought way too much to have for brunch - but thanks to the kitchenette we were able to pretend we were locals!! We did have to wait until 3 to get into our room but it was worth it. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location
Very good location, clean rooms and staff was very good but no air conditioning so evenings were not comfortable for sleeping!

Not good - most rooms have no a/c
Not a pleasant experience. We didn’t check if the room has a/c, we assumed that in 2018 this is would be a basic feature, just as we never check if a hotel offers hot water. If you decide to park your car be warned the parking process is a nightmare. The hotel is just below a crowded area, noisy and a bit dingy. I would explicitly recommend my friends to avoid this place. The staff had a “who cares” attitude. It’s true that American tourists traveling in Europe sometimes expect too much of in terms of services, but it’s also true that some hotels like this one live up to the stereotype. I’ve never given a hotel a bad review, this place however needs to be called out.

Convenient, roomy but not so comfy.
Two nights in the middle of the action in Lyon. Everything was great except the air conditioning (and weak wifi, as everywhere). The aircon could not keep the room cool enough, even in April, so we had to open windows and live with the noise from the crowds in the streets below.
