Mostly great
Great concierge team and outstanding reception but housekeeping could be more through and flexible with when they stopped by. Bed creaks like a Halloween haunted house which would've been fine if we weren't sharing the room with a toddler. It kept waking her up. Location couldn't be better, even with all the construction going on upfront. Absolutely divine dinner at their restaurant. Breakfast was also superb.

Nous Aimons Bonaparte'!
We were a family of 3 with an 8 year old boy visiting for the first time. Yes, the construction is unimaginable; but once you arrive it becomes a vague memory. Old Montreal is preparing for it's 375 anniversary next year; so be prepared for detours, road closures and lots of traffic. Walk or take public transportation; it's better to walk so you don't miss any of the shops, cafes or activities. The hotel itself is a real gem in the midst of the most historic area in the city. Cobblestone roads and narrow alleys lead to all types of adventures. We walked, ate, and walked more. The staff at Hotel Auberge is amazing. Luc, Mary, and the day time manager (sorry I can't remember her name) were all wonderful. From carrying bags and luggage to constantly helping us find our way; suggesting tours and places to eat! We loved it so much; we have already reserved for next year!

Street in front was torn up by city work crews.

wonderful stay
Hotel staff extremely friendly and helpful. There is major construction taking place on the street so we were upgraded us to a quiet room. Room was clean and comfortable. (My only complaint is about the breakfast. The omelets were greasy and overcooked and the"toast" was actually a sweet muffin.)

Charming boutique hotel
Excellent boutique hotel for exploring old Montreal. Staff was exceptionally friendly. Construction directly outside hotel created minor noise problem.
