A bit pricy for a hotel off the freeway. Elevators still not working properly

Good for the price
The location and price is great for this hotel. The staff was all very very friendly. The rooms are not very clean, the carpets are very dirty and stained. The bed frames were dusty and you could see crumbs around the bed. We had an issue with the bed frame that has built in lights, the lights kept coming on all night. It would be a quick flash (enough to wake you) but then would turn back off. It happened about 6 times and then at 3:40 AM they stayed on. The manual button for the lights would not turn them off and it woke up my husband and daughter too. Just when I was imagining having to move rooms at 3:40 or sleep with the lights on, they magically turned back off. Happened again at 7:30 AM which is earlier than I planned to get up, but that time I just gave up on getting a good night sleep. The front desk was nice enough to comp us breakfast in exchange for a pretty bad night's sleep for all of us.

Excellent, reasonably priced hotel
We had a great stay at Hotel Angeleno. This seems like a great deal for a hotel in this area, and accommodations are strong.

Stay on the Quiet Side
Good location in an expensive part of town. Our room overlooked the Freeway, so lots of traffic noise. The other side of the circular hotel must be much quieter.
