Convenient but Loud
The Temple Bar area is very loud and active at night, and you will hear it from your room. On the first floor you'll hear the music from the TGIF downstairs pretty clearly, though they close earlier than the rest of the bars. You'll still probably hear noise throughout the night from buskers, music spilling out from nearby bars, and drunk people randomly making loud noises. If you're going for a late night in Temple Bar it probably doesn't matter as you'll be coming back to your room very late and possibly too drunk to care. If you're looking for a quiet night's sleep you might look elsewhere. The hotel itself is nice enough. A little worn perhaps, but the service was helpful and friendly. The location was very convenient for sightseeing and the express buses to and from the airport.

We were on a higher floor with only a very small window. It was a little on the warm side in the room. Shower was tiny. But overall the room was very functional and the location was great. Walkable to trinity collage, temple bar, shops, pubs/ restaurant and museums.

In the heart of Dublin
You can't get much more centrally located. It's a clean, comfortable place to spend a night, and I especially appreciated the complimentary earplugs, as the neighborhood is noisy.

Good location, hot room
The hotel was well located for the Temple Bar area. Unfortunately it was a hot summer day when we checked in, and we were not aware that air conditioning was an option that we do not pre book, so our room was quite hot. They did bring us a fan, which made it somewhat tolerable. Just beware if you go here during the summer. The rest of the hotel was just OK...it's in a great area for bar hoppers.
