Hotel is run down with lots of broken things (bathrooms, hot tub, regular pool heater, TVs), half-finished construction projects, staff was extremely rude, room was not serviced, we were even asked to bring dirty towels down to front desk if we wanted clean ones

Not Safe and Not Clean, do not recommend
Hotel needs some TLC, arrived to a smelly, hot room, Theresa at front desk was great and gave us a different room. On both rooms, the security latch was removed so no way to keep hotel staff out of room for privacy; if I had been traveling alone i would have asked for a refund because i did not feel safe. We placed soiled sheets in hall and returned to find the same sheets waded up in the chair in the room and bed not made, we had to go to front desk to get clean sheets and make the bed ourselves. One of the exit doors was broken and the first night the door remained locked and not usable, which is a fire hazard. the 2nd night the door was left unlocked for anyone to enter. first room smelled of cigarette smoke, second room started smelling the same after the first day. first room dirty, overall the whole facility needs to be updated. Housekeeping was not friendly when we passed them in hall. Not impressed by my stay and will not be staying there again. the only positive in the whole stay was Theresa at the front desk.
