3-star hotel in a 2 star neighborhood.
There were small problems in both rooms, one had a shower floor with a leak, the shower was raised off the floor of the bathroom and water would seep through onto the bathroom floor through the tiles leaving quite a large puddle. We told the staff and they seemed both unsurprising as well as unconcerned. The breakfast wasn't gourmet but was very convenient in the mornings and was completely satisfactory. The staff was entirely pleasant and helpful in every way they could be. Wi-Fi was very nearly useless at peak hours.

Noisy room, terrible internet, booking information not communicated, and dirty After doing a tour through Morocco where all hotel stays were 3 star, I was expecting an even more comfortable experience at the 4 star Kenzi Basma (the price was higher than any other in which we had stayed). The hotel finishes and front desk service is 4 star but that's where it ends, the following are some of the issues that I found. 1. On arriving, we were show to the room. Even though I specifically requested a King sized bed when booking, we were given a twin. No problem, this was quickly corrected by giving us a room with a king. 2. The bathroom (toilet bowl) was found to be dirty, the towels were old and worn and the carpet was very grimy. 3. The website specifically states that the rooms are sound proof. We were in the room a short while and the noise from outside was so loud that it sounded like a window was left open when it wasn't. I requested a room that was less noisy and was gladly shown another which was just as noisy. The constant loud traffic noise, even at night, made sleeping difficult. 4. The internet was unusable. It took a long time to connect, when connected it was extremely slow and often cut out. Internet in the lobby and it wasn't any better. Reception they said there's nothing they could do. We had to go out to a cafe to use the internet.
