The Grand Hyatt Mumbai food will make you sick!
The hotel is comfortable and very well designed. Nice rooms and comfortable beds, althought the hotel could do with a good cleaning. THE FOOD: Avoid everything beyond breakfast since their lunch and dinners made us sick!! We know it happened at the Grand Hyatt Mumbai since each time we ate there we both became ill. One meal took place outside of the hotel (at another 5 star nearby) and we were fine. The hotel feels it can just wave this illness away like its nothing and have fallen silent. Disappointed!
The most unprofessional service I have had by booking through hotels.com. The hotel gave us a huge bill not counting for the payment we made via hotels.com. We had to resolve that right before the departing flight. On top of this, we left our luggage with them to be picked later the day as we had a night flight out of Mumbai. The luggage when given back to us at the end of the day was drenched in water. No idea what they did to the luggage but all the items in the suitcases were all wet. And this is 2 hours before our flight departure! All the staff at the hotel has to say is sorry; no explanation no reasoning just don't know what happened. Very disappointed for a highly rated hotel to have staff that don't care about you. Never recommend this hotel to anybody.
