About Daiichi Hotel Tokyo, Tokyo

Stylish Tokyo hotel with restaurants, near transport

Near Shimbashi Station

Regular buses run between Narita and Haneda airports and Daiichi Hotel Tokyo, and the major rail hub of Shimbashi Station is a 5-minute walk. There are Tokyo metro and Toei subway stations even closer to the hotel, and it's only a few stops to lively Shinjuku and Roppongi.

Fresh sushi, Ginza shops

The famous Tsukiji Fish Market is a 15-minute walk, and it's worth getting up early for the freshest sushi. The streets of neighboring Ginza are lined with boutiques and bars, and for a change of scene you can stroll down to the landscaped gardens at Hama Rikyu, beside Tokyo Bay.

Panoramic cocktail lounge

Yakitori, sukiyaki, and shabu-shabu - the hotel has a restaurant for almost every type of Japanese cuisine, as well as French and international favorites. Room service is also available 24-hours. After a workout or swim, you can watch the sun set over Tokyo with a cocktail at the cool Lounge 21.

Free WiFi, premium beds

All 278 guestrooms are unusually spacious for a central Tokyo hotel, with high ceilings, large windows, and wide, comfortable beds. When not gazing out over dazzling Shiodome, you can get online with free WiFi, and rent a free DVD player to watch movies on the flat-screen TV.

Daiichi Hotel Tokyo, Tokyo
Excellent hote and staff. Stay on the 19th or 20th
This place is amazing. Amazing staff from the greeters to the baggage people to the concierge. Great room excellently appointed. You should request being on the 19th or the 20th floors...these are the 'premium floors' with your own lounge with cocktails and snacks each evening with the nicest staff. Free complimentary booze in the room and the room refrigerator was stocked full each day and was complimentary. The location is walking distance to Imperial Palace across the road from the Shimbashi station. We were a party of four...two adults and two teenagers and they set up with four separate beds that were excellent...not simply rollaways. Everyone loved this hotel.

I back to visit Tokyo 1-2 times every year for vacation. I always stayed in Daiichi Hotel Shimbashi. It’s Good location, near Ginza area & very convenient location to travel area in any place of Tokyo area. Stuffs of this hotel are very friendly & good service. Highly recommended if this hotel.

Daiichi Hotel Tokyo, Tokyo
The service and location of the hotel was excellent. I think they need to get new covers for the folders and new cushions in the room. Ours were pretty worn out. I think it is a little old fashion to actually have a key to get into the room.
