Stay at the mandarin
The mandarin is an impressive hotel. That said, the staff go above and beyond to ensure guests are satisfied. It was a great place to stay!

Best place to stay if you want to see the cherry blossoms. Fairly close to the National Mall as well. But around 6:00 everything is dead. There are no restaurants. Even the Starbucks next door closes at 7:00 PM.

Booked for water view room, but the room was on the lower floor which did not have good view at all.
