Wonderful Stay
Hotel staff was super friendly and accomodating. I arrived early to see if it would be possible to check-in and a room was available so they sent me right up. Walking distance to my favorite restauranta and bara, the pier, and great views of the beach!! Clean beautiful stay.

Ocean Beach Hotel
The Ocean Beach Hotel was a PERFECT place for us. *NO ELEVATOR* The reason I say this is I heard a heated argument with a person checking in & if they read reviews they would have known this. It's 3 floors.The room is small & I read reviews before selecting the place. I booked a room facing the ocean with balcony & we got room 208. Perfect. Nice size fridge, Keurig coffee maker w/cups & coffee, No microwave. But I knew that. Shower was nice, no tub. The place was clean! That's the first thing I noticed. There is a washer/dryer on site that uses quarters and I think it was $1 to wash and $1.50 to dry. They sell packets of All detergent for $2.99 (I think). He kindly offered me quarters. No kind of breakfast for guests but we knew that. There are a gajillion of places to eat around there. Hotel is literally feet away from the beach. Staff at the hotel were super friendly & nice to us. TV worked great. Bed was comfortable & I can't comment on the pillows because we bring our own. Towels & bathroom amenities were fine too. I liked the lotion. We checked in on Friday September 8th and the gentleman at the desk had a smile and happily welcomed us in. Made me feel good. He was awesome. The store in the lobby probably has everything you will need. If not there is a target and rite aid 6 minute walk up the street. When we come back to this area this will be our go to hotel! In reviews I've read some people complained about the amount of homeless. They don't even notice you.
