Love our stay at Juniper Spring Resort
Love our visit to Juniper Spring. Love that it is a ski in/out resort. Just a few steps and you're on Eagle Express. Room has a perfect size kitchen with everything you need to cook a nice meal. We stayed for 2 nights/3 days and only ate out once. Resort has a free shuttle service. We will come back next year.

Meh
front desk lady not too friendly. The room door opened by lifting the door handle up instead of down, as illustrated in the key instructions. No help whatsoever from the front desk. Made us go down a couple of times instead of coming up and assisting us. Not a good start. One bed was too hard, the other one was supposedly a queen, but was a couch bed, perhaps full size. Made us wait for ski rental in hotel to open at 8am, only to then put a note out that it was not going to open that particular day (we literally asked half an hour before if it was going to open and they said yes). Wi-Fi was slow and sometimes did not work.

Mixed bag hotel--fantastic location and service
Right at Eagle Lodge lift and rentals==FANTASTIC! Bed was hard as a rock and unsleepable. Housekeeper brought up a couple of duvets to stick under the matresspad which helped a bit. Sofa bed was like grandma's 30 year old sleeper in the den. Kitchen was pretty nice, everything we needed to prepare our meals (with 2 picky kids). Housekeeping never tidied room--no reload of toilet paper, kleenex, toiletries during 3 night stay. Free lockers on ground floor super appreciated and handy. Trying to pack up Sunday morning was inconvenient==other's hogging limited number of carts. Irritated that friends who decided to join us paid $100/night less on Trivago AFTER we booked.

Great location, terrible beds!
Great location for skiers, Eagle Lodge was short walk away. The one bedroom was perfect for the three of us. The kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast & dinner. Great view from the balcony & our daughter was actually able to snowboard from the ski run directly to our patio. The underground parking was great, we didn't need to use the ski locker, it was easy to put out gear back in the car. There are three hot tubs on the property which were wonderful to use after a long day of skiing. This hotel has so many great things, I was greatly surprised and disappointed by the mattress in the bedroom. The premium pillow top was more like plywood top. I had the most miserable nights of sleep I've ever had staying in a hotel. My daughter opted not to use the pull out bed & just slept on the sofa which had one cushion that was 5 inches lower than the rest of the cushions on the couch. To hotel management, it is time to replace some furnishings.
