    good place to stay
We've stayed here numerous times when visiting Yosemite. The front desk staff is always friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The only complaint I have about the rooms is that the shower head is really low. I know that seems like a silly complaint but I don't know why anyone would mount a shower head at a height where a person only 5'7" has to bend over to wash their hair.

    Basic Hotel-overpriced
We stayed 1 night. For almost $200 a night (including taxes) the jacuzzi wasn't working per staff, most ice machines weren't functioning & by morning we found out our hotel door was not secure &locked. It wouldn't latch/lock. Only the handle was locked. You could just push the door in. I tried it different ways at least 10 times. I couldn't believe it. Staff didn't seem surprised & said thanks for telling us. Per staff "things break" but for the price get them fixed. Staff said you have a tub in your room which surprisingly I had a big sunken in jetted tub. That was great for me but my husband has severe back & neck pain and we always try to book hotels with HOT JACUZZI'S and ice machines (he lays on a bag of ice to kill the pain) since we couldn't bring the commercial ice packs. There was frozen beer in there from previous folks. No cell service or wifi & TV is all static. The room was spacious we had a KING bed and big bathroom. Bed was comfortable and clean. Nothing around so we ate at the restaurant on site which was pretty good. Fish and chips, wings, sandwiches etc. They had an indoor and outdoor pool. When walking back from dinner we stop to see indoor pool and the jacuzzi was working so not sure how the staff didn't know that. Only an hour went by. Too late at that point since it was closing. I should of received some type of credit especially for the unsecure door. Front desk looks like all local teenagers and they didn't really care. Not real hospitality staff.

good value for access to yosemite
the outside deck area was welcome but the furniture was in poor repair with a number of broken chairs. Since there were only 3 of us, we were able to find enough chairs in good condition for our use. the rooms were clean with furniture in good repair.
