Monopoly in the middle of nowhere.
Hotel has the monopoly on everything. Be prepared to pay very high prices for very average (at best) food, service, etc. Room was not worth the price we paid and even basic, basic services had charges.

Great value
This was my second stay at Cedar Lodge, the place has everything you need and is much cheaper than the options directly within Yosemite. It’s still only a short drive to the entrance. We didn’t spend much time in the hotel, but everything was clean and we had no issues whatsoever.

Not Bad
Great location just outside of Yosemite, room was average, condition average, the price pretty hefty.

Yosemite base-camp and more!
Great pad to launch into Yosemite! Awesome grounds, little river just across with BBQ pits. We'll be back!

Close to Yosemite
Loved the proximity to Yosemite! Also, nice to have the river across the street. The room was quite outdated, but fairly clean. The beds were not the most comfortable. We ate dinner in the sports bar and the hamburgers were very good. Although it is not the nicest hotel, I would stay there again when visiting Yosemite.
