Adrian Hotel, Athens
Very Good8.0
The Adrian Hotel is in a great location in the Plaka area of Athens; however, the property itself is a bit tired and worn around the edges. Our comments for the rooms would be the beds were on the hard side and could have used more updated/modern bedding and throw pillows as everything appeared dark and a bit dated. The bathrooms though, were updated and efficient but lacked counter space around sink area or anywhere to place toiletry bags (the 3" ledge at the mirror was too small to hold a bag). The breakfast on the rooftop terrace was nice but the area is a bit old. The hotel should consider a little refresher to the space and install large glass panels all around so guests can look out to unobstructed views of the Acropolis above, rather than looking around and through chain link fencing and green netting. Overall, it was a nice experience but not the most comfortable stay compared to the other property we stayed at in Athens afterwards.

Weekend in Athens
Excellent central tourist location. Small and friendly. Great views from rooftop terrace. Small complaints - rooftop was locked after breakfast and would have been great for night views of the city, fridge in room was a little beaten up.

The location of the hotel is excellent! It is located at the bottom of the Acropolis...only a short walk to view all the historical sights. And some very good restaurants were a short walk away...as well as shopping! The people at the hotel were very hospitable as well.

Amazing hotel in the heart of Athens!
Absolutely wonderful stay! We were there for four nights on our first visit to Athens, and the location was perfect for easy walking to the most interesting sights. The room was comfortable and clean, and serviced well every day. The breakfast was excellent - very tasty and a large selection. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Adrian is a jewel in the heart of old Athens!
