Place is beautiful.... service not so much!
Best thing I can say about this resort is that it is most likely the best place to stay in San Andres. The resort is very nice; the beach is gorgeous..... unfortunately what made our stay 3 stars was the lack of service from the ENTIRE staff which definitely has not been trained on customer satisfaction or in making the experience for their guests a memorable one. This though I blame on whoever is in charge of their training or at least in creating a vision for the staff. If they were to be trained correctly they would absolutely make more money (in tips for sure) and be happier employees. From reception to bartenders to pool and towel personnel, none care nor pay attention to their guests. No one serves with a smile or barely looks at you. Other than the service, the place is GREAT!

San Andres Getaway
If you want to get into one of the reserved restaurants, you need to get to the reservation site by 7:30am. Otherwise you will be eating only at the buffet. Food selection at the buffet was great and everything was delicious. The ocean view was amazing and the live music each night was excellent.

My wife and I enjoyed it a lot. It is the newest Decameron on the island and it shows! I recommend it.

San Andres Experience
The hotel is too expensive for the quality of service you receive! When you pay $300+ per night you expect to have top service and top accommodations. Weather in San Andres was HOT and crazy HUMID so sweating was something you would do every second of the day once you were outside your room (if it had AC which wasnt the case for the first night of my stay)!! Lost a full day of work because moving to a new room on the next day was too difficult for the staff to accomplish! One night while in bed at 11pm I called the front desk to ask for an internet user/password and the lady said she cant give it, that I had to go to the front desk to get the it. That was ridiculous!! I had to put something on and walk 10 minutes all the way to the front desk and then come back to bed!! Well, in general, bad experience, good place...
