First time in Zermatt. Hotel is walking distance from the train station but it can be a bit challenging if you have more than just carry-ons due to the cobblestone streets. However, there are plenty of taxis available. Location is very convenient if you're going to see Matterhorn. Staff was friendly, courteous and helpful even when the rail lines had temporarily closed due to an avalanche. They kept us updated on the status of the train departures. Room was clean and comfortable, nothing fancy but who needs fancy when you'll be spending more time outside. Will definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our week stay at the Alpenblick. Excellent location for skiing and viewing the Matterhorn. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great each morning. We will definitely be coming back.

We took Glacier Express to Zermatt and stayed here for 1 night only. As it’s first day of January, it’s very difficult to book a hotel room, luckily we booked this. We got 2 big luggages and 2 backpacks, it took us around 20 mins to walk from the station to the hotel. However, when we saw the Matterhorn from our hotel room on the next day morning, we thought it’s worth of it.

Alpenblick Superior Zermatt
Delightful older hotel beautifully finished inside and out. I loved the breakfast room and the parlor downstairs to just sit and relax. They have items to borrow such as trekking poles, umbrellas and phone chargers which we did need. The front desk staff is very helpful, and the breakfast lady was always smiling! Would stay again in a heartbeat!
