    Excellent customer service
Great hotel with excellent customer service and good quality breakfast. Gym was one of the best and biggest. When I booked the hotel I was concerned about the staffs' English skills due to some online reviews, but this is not the case. The staffs had no problem communicating in English and very helpful. We called in our room and asked if they can arrange a Taxi for a full day. The hotel said they will arrange it for us, but we left the room to hotel's breakfast. The staff came to us at the breakfast room and informed us the arrangement. I was really impressed by their very personal customer service. The hotel is tuck away from busy street and is quiet. Don't have much pretty view like other tall hotels, but it is one of the best hotels I have ever visited.

Great Staff, Great Location and Great Hotel.
It is s great hotel and in a great location. Some people would preferSukhimvit. However I found the hotel to be in a great location with a 10 to15 minute walk to two BTS Rail stations. The walking is much easier than most other parts of the city ( ie good footpaths and plenty of crossongs) and many quiet streets. Nahm restaurant is in the hotel and is one of the great restaurants of the world. Nearby you can also find Le Du and Issays Siamese Club which are also truly great. These with Bo LAN are the best Thai restaurants in Bangkok and probably the world. The rooms are very large with huge bathrooms. The front door staff are excellent and always willing to help. I think close to the best. I also liked the breakfast without there being the normal waste and overwhelming choice.

    Very Good 8.0
Worth it for the bathroom/nahm alone.
So this place is gorgeous, and the beds are better than some of the other boards we slept on throughout our Thailand trip (still firm tho. Seems to be a thing here). Service is kind and agreeable and full of the Thai deference and need to please (having the concierge get us a metered cab to the airport at 4am was no problem at all). There's nothing near the hotel until you get 20 min out and find conveniences and amenities that haven't been marked up 40% (beware the 7-11 around the corner bearing higher prices than all the other 7-11s we frequented all over). nahm is TOTALLY worth the set menu. DO THAT. Please do pet the hotel front door cats, tho they're a bit skittish. I'm still thinking about the metropolitan room's bathroom – that shower, that bath... I have no words for how happy they made us on the last leg of our trip.

    Oasis in Busy Bangkok
The Metropolitan Bangkok is a quite gem and I look forward to every time. That I return. The modern Thai spa atmosphere combined with stylish, quiet and spacious rooms make this a great hotel to relax and enjoy. The Shambala spa facilities have outstanding message and treatments, first class exercise facility, yoga studio and relaxing outdoor pool area. As for meals, enjoy Glow, with its healthy, fresh and tasty menu options and relaxed atmosphere or enjoy an unforgettable dinner at Naam, the hotels small Thai restaurant with a Michelen star. The hotel is nicely set back off the Main Street which contributes to a quiet and relaxed atmosphere that you would expect of a five star hotel. The Metropolitan staff is outstanding in every way, and make you feel welcome and in good hands. You cannot go wrong. I recommend an early morning walk or jog in nearby Lumphini Park, along with the real Thailand residents. A must!!

    Excellent hotel - great location
The COMO Metropolitan was perfect from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. We arrived to warm smiles and cold drinks from reception, who fortunately were able to accommodate us immediately despite our early morning flight arrival. The room, the bed and the bathroom were huge, well equipped and very comfortable. The 20m pool and cocktails were refreshing in the heat. Thom the concierge was excellent and very happily booked restaurants and taxis for us. The hotel is a low rise oasis of calm surrounded by the high rise fast moving craziness of Bangkok. The traffic is mad so allow at least 30 minutes to get to the old quarter or Sukhamvit by taxi. Better still cross Sathon Road and walk 10-15 minutes to Silom metro or Sala Daeng sky train. From SD you can also go four stops to the river boats.
