Old and run down with squeaky floors upstairs. Had to park in a back lot that was dark. Asked for a receipt, but wasn't given one. Room did appear clean, though was in need of a remodel.

Very, Very Basic Quality
When we arrived at the front desk, there were signs stating that the owner/host was out at a sister motel down the road. We were fine to wait until 15 min passed with no sight of the manager, and we drove to the second motel. Once again there was no one at the front desk, and after waiting another 10 min and calling the hotel number to no answer, we went to get lunch in hopes that the manager would be back at our original hotel once we were finished. Even after a 30 min lunch, we had to call the number again while we waited at the hotel for someone to come over and check us in. By that time it was at least an hour past the posted start of check-in time. Another odd element was the communal kitchen/dining area. There was no mini-fridge or microwave in our room, and it was expected for guests to use the communal dining area that had a microwave, stove, appliances, fridge, etc. However, we were surprised to learn that anything left in the fridge was considered discarded or "left for sharing" by the guests, meaning there was no personal way to keep perishable items. The room was adequately clean and stocked as expected, but the front desk presence was unprofessional, and the lack of personal fridge/microwave was disappointing. I would not recommend this hotel especially for the price.

Bed bugs! Beware.
This was a cute inn downtown Panguitch. It's on par with the other hotels in Panguitch. New beds were comfortable, but bedding and pillows were still old. I woke up to about 50-75 bites on both of my hands, neck, and lower back. I thought they were mosquito bites. My son woke up with about 30 bites on his ankle. My stay was 5 days long. After I checked out, I met a family friend who asked me about my stay. She mentioned their history of bed bugs....eek! I then realized the bites I had were from bed bugs and now they were all over my luggage too. Now I'm left still hoping I treated my luggage and belonging carefully enough in hopes that I don't get an infestation in my home. I am extremely angry over this issue. The owner needs to do research and hire an exterminator to get rid of their pest problem. I have stayed at other hotels in Panguitch and all the hotels seem to be on par in terms of quality, but this was a first for me. Before you unpack, do some research and check thoroughly for bed bugs before you go to sleep.

Stay at other Hotel if you have a Pet the Marianna
OK really confusing because we didn't actually stay at this Hotel, we stayed at the Marianna Inn there other Hotel these owners own. So when setting up this trip I specifically was looking for a hotel that accommodates to having a pet like my little dog and well says this hotel offered it, and also their personal website says they offer it. I even called several times to make sure I could bring my dog. So once arriving well this hotel says that was all a mistake said they would fix it and asked us to stay at another hotel down the over all I am actually not mad because I feel we got to stay in a better hotel that had access to a lawn very easily for my dog where as this hotel would have had a little bit of traveling for my doggy to use the potty. So thank you so much for the same price I booked this room for it was a really really great deal and truly appreciate their business.
