Very comfortable stay
Very nice hotel owners and managers, very accommodating with late check in, gave great advice on sightseeing. Room was comfortable and clean.

Sorry, not again
Owners were very nice but the motel left a lot to be desired. All the rooms on the ground floor were located along a naŕŕow dead-end hallway with the only exit being through the lobby. Do not recall seeing any escape instructions Do not know about the second floor but saw only one staircase. (Do they have a fire marshall here?) painted paper was peeling from the bathroom ceiling, there was no shelf in the bathroom, no Kleenex, no stationary, no clock, ice machine was in the garage outside of the living area. As we were leaving a lady was checking out and reported the "water closet" was not operating.

The hotel is located directly in the downtown area of Panguitch. It is an old hotel, which we felt added charm. Parking is easy. Upon entering the lobby, I did have second thoughts as it looked like it could use dusting. For a minute I thought maybe I had entered a wrong door and wasn't in the lobby after all. There was no computer or anything that was obviously a check in desk, and there was no clerk. I approached the counter (which looked more like a display case) and read that the clerk had stepped out for a moment. We waited for about 15 minutes before the clerk arrived. He was able to check us in quickly. As the hotel is older, the room was nothing fancy, but it was comfortable and very clean. After getting past the check in, I found our stay to be a good one. After check in, I went back to the desk, which was again unattended, to inquire about WiFi. After reading things that were posted at the desk, I found the complimentary WiFi code. Interestingly enough, at check out time, we found the desk to be unattended again. I would recommend this hotel to friends. If I stay in Panguitch again, I will stay here because of location and cleanliness of the room.

Ok, but not worth the cost
Clean room, no chair/table, have to sit on bed. Communal fridge/microwave. Plumbing in my room had problems. Good thing I only stayed one night.
