Not brill! Dreadful service on check-out! 1 plug socket in the room!

Update needed
Not the cheapest and at the price wasn't expecting 5 star, however reception smelt like a truck stop cafe would, deep fat fryer chips, staff however pleasant. Hotel building looks tired, room looks tired and heater whilst working, totally inadequate for a cold night like it was, no heater working for bathroom, so freezing tiles. It served it purpose however, based on the above, its worth in my opinion no more than £30 night and for the little extra I could have paid over the rate to use a different chain, I would in the future do that.

The springs in the bed were very harsh and most uncomfortable to lie on.

Cheap and cheerful, ok for one night
The accommodation reminded me of the old blocks of Butlins chalets, I can't decide if the rooms want completely refurbishing or the whole place wants demolishing and rebuilding. However we were very surprised at how busy it became later, it seems there's a demand for a cheap place to stay after a night out in Wakefield rather than drink and drive. It served a purpose for our needs for a last minute overnight stay and the food was surprisingly good. But even at such a low price I'm sorry to have to say that I wouldn't choose to stay there again.
