Horrible.
First of all. We got there and they had the office locked and we had to call the hotel manager and we waited forever for him to get there. The room itself, was extremely dusty and the floor hadn't been mopped in what looked like forever. There was a hole the bathtub. And, the room was very very dated. It said on hotels.com that there would be a back porch for use. And it was pilled to the ceiling with broken furniture and outdoor equipment. But that isn't even the worse part.... Our hot water heater went out and it took them 4 whole days to replace it. I have honestly never stayed in a worse in my life and we travel a lot. The maintenance man and the hotel manager wore the same clothes our whole vacation. If we could afforded it we would have went somewhere else. All though I do recommend visiting Hershey Pennsylvania. Everywhere else was great But hotels.com should really consider taking Sunrise Inn off of there listing because it was the worst.

Too Many Full-time Guest
We have stayed here a few times (not my choice, my husband made the rsv). The place has a lot of folks down on their luck and who need a place to stay, which reminds me of halfway homes or recovery centers back home. It is unfortunate. However, the nonsmoking rooms reek like smoke and pot because the guest smoke outside of the rooms and the smoke funnels in via the vents on the HVAC units and it gets drawn into the room. Our room was so bad that my pajamas which were clean reeked so back of nicotene after staying 2 nights that I had to launder them three times to get the smell out. I am having to do the same with all our clothes. I have double up on the allergy meds to relieve my congestion since I am slightly allergic to the stench. The place should be converted to a place for the homeless and recovery center and not a so called guest hotel. I try to be fair and see all aspects and not judge, but the full time daily guest who stay steal everything in the rooms. The first time we stayed they stole the plug out of the shower head and water was spewing everywhere, this time they stole the HDMI cable and the front desk had to bring one to our room. Why was this not noticed prior to our arrival? The only way this place will ever be smoke free is if replace all the carpet, all the mattresses, bedding etc and deep clean/santize the rooms and start fresh, but that would cost way too much. Cheap prices don't mean a relaxing stay by any means. I hope they make changes.

I should have believed the bad reviews. I've stayed in many motels before, including in this are, but this was the first place I ever checked back out of in 30 seconds. At check-in the attendant gave us our key and basically begged us not to smoke in the room (first warning sign). Went to the room and of course it smelled like cigarette smoke. I thought maybe I can deal with this, but continued to have a look around. The room was not maintained, peeling paint on the door and walls, obvious disrepair. Again, not a total deal breaker. Anywhere I stay I usually pull the sheets back first to make sure they were clean. Pulled back sheets and found a small stain, pulled back more found a larger stain, then pulled back all the way and found a huge stain, all of which could only be described as old blood stains. Sheets were dirty (hair and other particles on the sheets) and threadbare. God knows what the mattress looked like and what was hiding in it... That was that, went right back to the office and checked out. I was fully prepared to stay in my car for the night in some gas station parking lot. The outside of the hotel was also in complete disrepair. The photos are all BS, I did not see anything at the hotel the looked anything even remotely like the pictures. The pictures must be from at least 10 years ago... Spend a few more bucks and go to any other motel... recommend the White Rose motel just down the road, clean as a whistle!

My non smoking room reeked of cigarettes and had a half smoked cigarette in my room! I am severely allergic to tobacco smoke and woke up after 30 minutes unable to breath and had to give myself 2 epi pen injections and spent the rest of the night in my car. I did not get an apology or a refund. Also had to pay $1200 to have my epi pen replaced out of state

We arrived around 6pm. There was a note on the office door "please ring doorbell for management". The door bell was broken. My partner honked the horn and a man came out of one of the rooms. Our non-smoking room smelled like cigarette smoke. They only supplied one bar of soap and one hair conditioner. The sheets looked dirty, shower had hair in it. Needless to say the room wasnt clean. When i went to plug in my phone i noticed toe nail clippings behind the nightstand. In the morning 8am the toliet wouldnt flush. I went out to seek management. Again a note on the door saying " will return between 12-1pm". No breakfast amenties were available just a pot of coffee if they were actual in the office. Overall bad experience.

Disgusted
HEAVY cigarette odor in room, room was completely disgusting inside, roaches in bathroom, walls had stains of stuff that had been dripping down, we left the room and came back, the room smelled like someone had gone in and lit a joint. Pay a bit more and stay up the road.
