do not stay here
Hotel building, odd layout but was fine, updated but there were significant issues. First, Hotels.com listed our room as a King plus sofa bed, sleeps 4. Our room was a King plus sofa...NO BED. We had a party of 4 so one was on the sofa and one on the floor. Staff seemed shocked there was no sofa bed. GM was rude and refused to compensate us saying this was a Hotels.com issue. We will not book at any Hyatt or use Hotels.com again. Also, TV would not work. They have a ChromeCast device plugged into the TV and the TV kept trying to connect to it. Only way to watch the TV was to unplug the ChromeCast device. Front door would not lock without a good tug on it, bathroom door did not lock, Breakfast was okay. We will go back to the Academy Hotel moving forward. We stay in Colo Springs about 2 weeks every year and the Academy Hotel has never let us down. Hyatt house and their rude GM was a joke.
