Very Good8.0
beautiful palace now hotel
This is a well-situated 15th century palace converted into a nice hotel with some fine features. The "classic" rooms, with upscale furnishings and fixtures, are tiny. Some of the public rooms are grand. It's likely only the higher priced rooms have views. Our small room overlooking the entry courtyard was over $600 for two nights, too expensive for the value. The staff that manage the breakfast room are first rate — inviting but not fawning, efficient. The desk clerk that checked us in appears to be tired of his job.
