Functional in Florence
The hotel was fine. It was located about 15-20 minute walk from Florence’s most famous sites. The service was excellent: cabs available within 5 minutes, luggage storage etc. The rooms themselves were functional but dated and the towels were old and discoloured. Nice outdoor patio for cocktails.

The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating! Our room was nice with a patio. We were very happy with everything except for housekeeping. Nothing was replenished daily. We had to ask for coffee pods, toilet paper, towels and washcloths. The hotel has a bar next door and we enjoyed an expresso martini there and just to the left of the hotel there are two wonderful cafés for a light breakfast or lunch. A good 20 minute walk to the Plaza but easy to find if you are using an iPhone map. Overall we recommend if you are looking for a decent, affordable stay in Florence

Overall it was an ok stay for us. The staffs were friendly and nice along with the hotel condition. However, we could not turn on the ac which was quite hot and humid in the room. We were advised to open the window for the winds but honestly super noisy. I understand they may have policy on air con but kindly be accommodating and flexible on this, especially when guests informed it was hot in the room. Beside that ac hiccup, we enjoyed our stay still!
