Excellent sound isolation - can't hear any outside noise, even though I'm pretty sensitive. Nice sheets cleaned with fragrance free detergent. Empty fridge for our use was also a plus. Bath products had unwanted chemicals, so we used our own. Hotel sent us two emails, but none mentioned that a COVID test was required, so we had to run around and get it before we could check in.

the location was good. The room was too dusty and hot. The AC is barely working. I contacted maintenance but I think the AC it self quality was more like a fan only. Also there was renovation on the ground floor that I was informed about a day before arrival. no help with the luggage. over all did not get the experience of 5 star hotel.

First of all I want to thank the hotel for being open during corona and for doing a great job under these unprecedented circumstances. The hotel is located in an excellent location close to everything and literally just a 10 minute walk to the cathedral which is absolutely amazing and a must see. Although almost everything is closed it’s just a few minutes walk to the famous Rhein river with hundreds of restaurants. I look forward to coming back one day in a normal world.

The reception was very unfriendly. I came to my room and the A/C was on freeze, even it was very fresh outside. I turned it of and ask the reception to have a look that the A/C is really off. At the late evening I came back to my room and it was horrible cold. I went to bed with my clothes and checked out next morning and lost 4 nights I paid for. Better then to get a cold. The breakfast for 17 Euros was poor. Coffee maker was not working, the coffee holder for used coffee was full. After they empty it , I went for another Cappuccino and the milk exploded all over me, the milk container was empty. Difficult to understand that bad service, because they had no much guests. The front desk was not friendly at all , they just don’t care!!! I can’t recommend that hotel!!!

Not what it used to be.
Check in and check out we’re both very slow. This hotel chain is not very well run and use dated technology. The hotel was also doing some renovations, which I was not made aware of. I could hear drilling in my room, but they did move me too a quieter room. Every time I tried to call the reception I was placed on hold, so I found it easier just to go down and speak to them in person. But the hotel has some good bartenders.
