The property was in a good location with lots of amenities nearby. However, we were given a room on the sixth floor but the lift did not work nor did anyone offer to help with luggage. Much of the furniture in the hotel is dirty or dilapidated condition. We had two safes in our room, neither of which worked and so we had to carry valuables and passports around Paris with us. The hotel did not offer to assist by minding passports or do anything to provide a working safe. Appreciate that this is a two star, but the lack of care and attention really lets this place down.

I was extremely disappointed with the cleanliness and hospitality of this hotel. I have images and videos as proof that this hotel was the complete opposite of what was expected, also considering the price we paid. There was no kettle in the room for daily hot drinks - we were both unwell so this was very inconvenient. Towels smelt terrible and non fresh. The bath was damaged. We had asked for a double bed as we are a couple but was denied at the desk without prior warning. And most of all, the sink was a disaster!! We had dirty water containing dirty stuff coming out of the sink. This was the worst experience I’ve had, as well as my partners and I cannot stress enough how disgusting this hotel room was. It was a last minute book, but we had loads of other options to choose from and I am so disappointed especially it being in central Paris. Aren’t all hotels in central meant to be nice? A little bit even? Appalling service, appalling staff. They gave us another room after the sink incident but the second room was no better with a huge hole in the bath. Disgusting. Can someone please get back to me regarding this.

Beware Black Mold and Poor Service
Absolutely horrible, place is covered in black mold. Stay away from here if you know what is good for your health. They offered a different room, it's covered in mold too. They then won't refund you when you are not staying there, even though they tell hotels.com they will. Do not waste your money like I did.

Nothing to like except we could see the Eiffel Tower from our 5th floor room. The check-in guy was a bit rude when I said my name he stared at me with surly look and eventually said well I need a name. Well maybe didn't hear me but no need to be a smart arse! Not a good start. Also the lobby looked a lot seedier than the rose coloured pictures on Expedia. We caught the lift up to near our floor and opened the door, Wow has not had a repair man or revamp since Bridget Bardot was a kitten. We are slim 60 year old and struggled with the very small bathroom also quit noisy as there is no air conditioning you need the door open. Also I noticed no smoke detector in the room which I thought would be mandatory some decades ago in a hotel What made our stay even more sad is we paid high price months in advance! You live and learn even at sixty.

A good place to stay
This hotel was everything I needed. The bed was comfortable and the shower hot. It appears to be an older hotel but is clean and functional. It is an easy walk to the train station. Wifi works well. Friendly and caring staff.
