4/10 Fair

Scratch, rough towels and not so friendly
I like this place - the location to Grand Teton NP and Togwotee pass are great and the restaurant was pretty decent. However, we are only allowed two k cup coffees, one hot chocolate and one tea per night, in a room with two queen beds. I asked for a couple more coffees and was told they were $2 each. A box of 12 is less than $8. I expressed my dissatisfaction with this and he told me that it was my addiction, not his. Some days, you just need to let the guest have a couple more coffees then she won't be compelled to do a review on the sandpaper bathroom towels. Small towels felt like they had been beat against a rock and then left to dry on top.

Dirty Washcloth in Shower
Very small room. especially desk and bathroom. There was a dirty washcloth in the corner of the shower. Location very convenient to Oxbow Bend in Grand Teton NP

6/10 Good

Definitely a "rustic cabin" experience. Very worn and not particularly clean. No real amenities. If you wanted to give you or a family a "camping" experience in Wyoming, this would be great. We had a broken toilet seat and very dirty carpeting, dust issues and very dim lighting. For the price, we would NOT stay here again. We did enjoy the restaurant on site for dinner.

This lodge represents Wyoming. The resort is located in an idyllic place only 9 minutes from the Moran entrance to the Grand Tetons National Park. You can't pick a better location! The lodge is an excellent place if you have realistic expectations for rural Wyoming. We stayed in a two-bed room that was well insulated. It was small, but quiet; we never heard the neighbors. The room had visible wear and tear, but again, this is Wyoming. The lodge most likely has well water and not city septic which explains the slow toilet flushing especially when the lodge is crowded; we reserved one of the last rooms. This is not a 4-star commercial property in Jackson. It's an older, family-owned lodge far away from shopping, people, and noise--other than the adjacent road. It's quaint and rustic with a campfire at night and nearby trails. There is a restaurant on the property with adequate food. If you're in Wyoming to be surrounded by nature and enjoy the parks, stay here. If you're looking for a modern or new, all-inclusive hotel with lots of amenities and nearby places to shop and eat, you should probably look elsewhere.
