Honestly, it was fine. If you're used to high-end or middling, you may well hate it because it is certainly not that. But it's a motel, folks. A family run motel, not a chain. We thought of it as part of the adventure of our trip. Zany locals, eccentric motel manager (Who is very nice if you're nice. If you're not nice...well, you get what you give. Seems fair. ) Near a Safeway, and a good breakfast joint right across the street. It's on a very busy road, but was surprisingly quiet at night. We stayed two nights, and lived to tell the tale. We must be made of hardier stuff than most reviewers.

Worst birthday trip ever
The manager greeted us rudely in the parking lot. He was laughing as he told us the effing hotels.com messed up and overbooked the hotel. He then points out a family he just turned away and a young couple setting up a tent in the parking lot. He was rude, swearing, and smoking while he talked with us. The sign outside still read "vacancy". When I pointed that out, he laughed and said "so?" Hotels.com was able to book me a room at another hotel down the street and refunded me the difference. The outside of the hotel looked very run down and the Yelp reviews are worth looking at. Avoid this hotel!!!

UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!
I couldn't even stay at this hotel. Thank God I found out I had friends in the area who let me stay with them. I was nearly electrocuted by something hanging out of the wall, there was no toilet paper holder, visible stains on the brightly colored bedspread, the hair dryer didn't work, the curtains were sheer (no shred of privacy), the security lock was broken off, the toilet door was cracked, the picture frames were on the floor. When I complained, the desk guy and hotel manager both instantly copped attitude, and at some point the manager apologized and shook my hand saying he'd gladly refund my money, then proceeded to try to flirt with me! Seriously??? Creepy! When I tried to get refunded, he refused. Ridiculous!! Don't EVER stay here!!

Good enough but I wouldn't call it great
Low frills for sure but OK overall. We were there on a fishing trip, it's close to the dock and was the cheapest hotel considering the distance. My wife would not have been pleased with it but it was fine for a bunch of guys. Very small parking lot and they charge for ice.

Stay away
The hotel is in need of alot of repairs. The rooms were clean but lacked alot of stuff. The room needed alot of updating. The blankets on the bed had holes in them. The sink had tile missing on the front of it, the pillows were mushy, no maid service the next day, and when we asked we were told you have to request it!!! I saw the owner on the way out and tryed to talk to him and he was very rude and told me to stay somewhere else next time!!!
