Small but comfortable.
A bear bones hotel. You get a room that is newly redone. With the basics. Bed, TV, very slow wifi, shower. The public area are still being redone.

Worst Hotel Ever!
Horrible experience! Hotel was under major renovations. There was noise and banging all day. Unsafe conditions which I have reported. I have file a claim with my credit card for partial reimbursement. Staff was not helpful and the room was unreliable. It was a danger.

OLD WALK-UP BUILDING UNDER RENOVATION, DIRTY EXT.
This hotel is under renovation so virtually all parts of the hotel either have construction crews working on the building or you are forced to see old painted walls, dirty carpets and mouse/rat traps. When we checked in, the lady at the front desk was nice but she didn't provide the access code for the free Wi-fi. I had to keep calling the front desk for about an hour before she finally picked up and gave it to me. Quite irritating! However, the worst part of this hotel is that it is a walk up and my kids and I were placed on the fourth floor. I suffer from a back and leg injury so the pain and exhaustion I suffered from ruined the evening for me. The only positive I can give is that the room was decorated nicely and it appeared virtually clean. However, one of the pillows on the futon had some stain on it. I would only stay here again once the renovation is complete and they install an elevator. Seniors and disabled people cannot climb four large flights of stairs!

RAT IN OUR FOOD IN THE ROOM
My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay up until the day of our checkout when we noticed that there was a RAT in our pizza box. Yes, a rat in the same food we were eating. There was a hole in the box and rat clippings and faeces on the table on which the box was. It was absolutely disgusting. We spoke to the front desk and made a complaint to which they told us that their manager was on vacation and that we should expect rats in New York City. Imagine that. We have reported the matter to Hotels.com and are waiting to see if we would be refunded.
