Autumn leaf peeping
Dated, but that’s to be expected! A few ants; again, for a mountain lodge in a national park, not unexpected. We had a good time and we were right in the heart of the park.

Overnight stay inside Shenandoah National Park
Good location inside national park. Historic building. Basic park lodge, no frills but comfortable clean room.

Pleasant overnight stay.
It's a fun experience to stay at the Lodge inside the park. That being said, its rustic and the walls are paper thin. We read that and expected it going in. Therefore, we had a great time. Just FYI.

Great Place for Sunset and Stargazing
Everyone was lovely and the room was clean enough. I didn't expect luxury, I expected rustic. The shower was so great after a hard day of strenuous hiking. The views were AMAZING. The lodge is so picturesque. I didn't try the food or get a drink in the Tap Room which I wish I had.

Mice!
This is an old mountain lodge. Beautiful location but the lodge could use a lotvof tlc. Our room smelled of mold and we had mice! Long wait to check in and for restaurant. We opted for the taproom instead
