#glutenfree nice place. Clean friendly.
The check in was werid. I used hotels.com and arriving to check in they couldn't process it for some reason and it showed on their end it was from Expedia. They wanted a 30.00 deposit fee (which wasn't stated) no big deal but good to know a head. The lady had to mess with the computer to get us in. But also charged my bank and a different credit card 30.00 three times. Which I don't understand how. Was awesome having the dinner there, they do have gluten free options. Or suggested. So if celiac I wouldn't eat there. Kids do eat free. So that's a plus. Back to hotel. It was loud on and off all night which can be expected as it was in the city. But the doors when being closed sounds like jail cells closing. Extremely loud. Lol but we had a great time and no major issues. Will deff come back with the kids.

Maybe just poorly trained staff, but no excuse...
We used a free night credit to stay here because we really had a great time for our anniversary the year before. Just after I booked it I realized I was going to be out of town, so called the property to move the reservation out a week. Was told no problem and I was all set. Turns out we were not all set, our reservation was not moved and they took our free night as a no show. It's a shame, because we did enjoy this property in the past, but will never stay there or recommend it again. If you have to move your reservation directly with the property, make sure to get an email confirmation to prove it!!

The room was comfortable other than there was not a pleasant smell. We asked for them to spray the room and don't know if they actually did. Bought air fresheners and that helped some.

Happy with stay!
I have stayed at quite a few Holiday Inn Express hotels and this would be considered a very good hotel. I did think that some areas could have been spruced up a little though. The wall paper in the bathroom was peeling away in some areas and the coffee table had a chip on it and some scratches on top. Besides that we were very comfortable. I felt that the chambermaids did an excellent job and every morning the same young lady would check on us to make sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely stay at this same location again, if in the area.
