Winter Getaway in Marathon
We had a wonderful stay at the Skipjack Resort. It is an older property however the owner seem to be working on updating it. The staff was very friendly and very attentive to our requests. The food and drinks were very good and reasonably priced. If you are looking for a nice place that is not a "4 or 5 star pricing I would recommend the Skip Jack.

Great place to stay if you have a boat, rooms are clean and comfy with plenty of room. I was a little disappointed with bar/pool area. Not a lot of pool chairs for the size of the place. I would have enjoyed the bar more however, not a big fan of smoking and it seemed like everyone was smoking at bar including employees. I have zero issues with a couple people here and there but when its everyone at bar and then everyone sitting around pool its a little overwhelming. Other then that I thought the location was perfect for bouncing around.

Good stay. Convenient.
It worked out ok. One AC unit wasn’t working (there are two in the place). Bed was comfy enough but squeaky so you woke each other up when you’d have to get up to go to the bathroom. Pool area was ok but it’s not heated. Bartender at the tiki bar was nice. Best part of this place is the breakfast. Nice staff and food was good (pancakes were the best). I doubt we would stay here again. I would want more of a resort feel.
