Good business hotel with room for improvement
Hotel is located in front of the Alameda Central and has a small mall in the first floor which includes a Starbucks, McDonalds and a bookstore. The staff was friendly and courteous. The rooms were clean but in need of some maintenance. Neither the shower nor the sink drained properly. The room was somewhat cold and had no blankets. The pillows are too firm for my taste. Breakfast was not included in the price and seems to be about average price for the area (around 18 dlls).

Vacaciones Septiembre 2023

Excellent hotel in Downtown Mexico City
Like always Fiesta Inn Centro Histórico does not disappoint. They have been treating my family and I like part of their family. They make us feel welcome from check-in to check-out. The rooms are spacious and clean, as well as the whole property always clean. Special thanks to Geraldine at front desk for always helping me with a smile. Miguel and Joel never disappoint, always ready to help with any question we have or anything we need. I visit Mexico City often and would not stay anywhere else.

8/10 Very Good

Not coming back
Love being close to everything downtown. I stayed in May 2022 also and returned to this hotel. Before check in, and as part of being a Gold member at hotels.com I asked for a room with view to the street/park area. Although noisy with traffic, street musicians and crowds I love that about a big city. I was informed that if I wanted the room with a view I would need to purchase 2 breakfast buffets that amounted to approximately 40 extra dollars a night. I informed the desk clerk that last year I was not charged extra but was told that the policy changed last December since many request those rooms. I told them no thanks for the buffet but reminded them that hotels.com gold program mentioned free upgrade if available. I was given a two room suite upstairs with an inside view. The couch looked like it was found in the alley and the suite looked like it was put together with spare furniture pieces.

6/10 Good

Honest review.
Honest review since I had read other reviews and did not think they were honest after my stay! I have stayed at multiple fiesta Americana hotels before, but this was my first time staying at their Inn. Typically I am very pleased with their hotels but this was a huge disappointment. The hotel room was so outdated, it was not taken care of at all. There were stains on the bathtub which made me not want to shower, the furniture was stained and very old. I was only there for 2 nights and could not wait to check out. The staff was nice and the lobby area and restaurant was clean but they need to take care of the rooms. I definitely would not stay here again. Also, the rooms looked nothing like they pictured which I thought was misleading. For a few extra dollars you can stay at a Hilton across the street. Maybe I’m a hotel snob but honestly it was very uncomfortable and unpleasant to stay here.

Overall our stay was great. The hotel was clean, staff was very friendly and helpful, the hotel breakfast was good and convenient when traveling with kids. The area that it was located was great and such an easy walk to restaurants, shopping, and attractions. The litlle strip mall that is on thr ground level is a plus as you can easily access Starbucks and other food options.
