Decent, but could improve
The stay was alright. When we first checked in, I had asked about local taxi service, since we were not from CT, and the front desk person spoke to us rudely, as if we were supposed to know the numbers to the local taxi companies. Then we called the front desk from our room to inquire about the wifi, and the person was again rude and hung up the phone before we had a chance to finish the conversation. Additionally, the bed looked more like a full than a queen. However, the area was very nice! Because we were in town to visit the aquarium and the other local attractions, the hotel was a very convenient stay. The hotel does offer some discounts for local shops/restaurants, so make sure to check the papers at the front desk! Overall, the stay was ok.

Very Good8.0
Good place to stay
The room was clean and comfortable. Check in/out was good. The hairdryer didn't work, but management said they wouldc look at it. My only complaint is the noise from the highway next to it, but for 1 night it worked well for us.

It's okay
Just stayed here one night because we were going to a concert at Mohegan. It's a bare-bones motel so my expectations werent high but here is my pro/con list. Pros: Price was great. Room was clean. Pillows on bed nice and comfy. Fridge and microwave a plus. Hotel is close to everything. Staff was friendly. Cons: Bed was way too soft and could use an update. Could use more towels and soap. Showehead was horrible. Didn't feel super secure with the hotel door because it seemed to not close well. Ceiling tiles were sagging by "closet" area. Overall, its an old motel that could use some updating, but for the price you pay, you shouldn't expect fancy. If on a tight budget, I'd probably stay here again but not for more than a night or two.
