We had a great stay at The Reefs. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a nice spacious room and the bathroom was very clean and roomy. However, the beds could do with new mattresses as they were starting to get the dreaded trench in the middle. The food was was the same kind you can get at a restaurant in the US. Which I also found was the same in other restaurants in Bermuda. But try the Bermuda Fish Chowder. It was delicious! I tried it at other places, but liked The Reefs best. Breakfast was plentiful and kept us going all day. The location of The Reefs was great with a lovely beach and fabulous views. It was also an easy walk to other beaches close by, especially the Horseshoe Bay. I would highly recommend The Reefs, and hope to go there again someday.

This South Shore Gem has captured all the very best elements of the perfect Bermuda get away. All of the Staff are seasoned professionals at Bermudian Hospitality. They make you feel at home . The facilities - especially the beach- are all perfect for taking in Sun and shore in Bermuda. The rooms all face the water and the front porch allows you to witness the sunrise and sunset every day. Make sure you take your comfy shoes as you will do some good walking as it is built on the South Shore . The Breakfast Buffet is fantastic... having everything you could want. The hand crafted omelettes are perfect.

Stunning beach location
Stunning location, with its own gorgeous beach. Great view from most rooms. Snorkels and kayaks available at the beach. Breakfast food at the Clubhouse was disorganised and a bit poor. Lunch/dinner at the restaurant closer to the beach was better.

Feels overpriced
Stayed here in October 2022. Found this hotel to be slightly overpriced + overhyped. The location was absolutely breathtaking, yes, but that didn't feel like enough to compensate for everything else that was slightly... imperfect. The cliffside room felt small and dated (moist + cold tiled floor, dented tile, scuffed walls, big dead roach welcomed us in the bathroom, one lamp and bathroom lights were broken). Loved thoughtful details like robes and welcome cocktails, and AC was great, but thought that the layout of the room and hotel was awkward. Small closet was placed inside the bathroom so all our clothes got damp despite running AC on "dry" all day. You had to walk on a back service road to get to the main restaurant and pool; pool and beach are far from each other and completely disconnected. Pool also was very small and busy. It's also confusing that half of the hotel property, including a bigger, better pool, was actually a part of the club (condos) and therefore not available to us as hotel guests. Signage was a little unclear about that. Staff at the front deck were helpful, and our porter was really great, but cleaning staff kept knocking on our door in the evening even if we didn't need anything, which was weird to us. There was also a 15 min wait at dinner + very limited afternoon tea (no coffee and pastries went very fast). Overall we still enjoyed our stay and the beauty of the resort, but expected more based on all glowing reviews and $$$$ rate.
