Stayed for 4 nights for a family funeral. Spent a fair amount of time in my room which was situated on the top floor and had wonderful views of the beach and harbor mouth. Please note there is no elevator in this hotel but the staff are on hand to carry any luggage for you so the top floor was no problem. The room was spacious and the bed was enormous! Everything was very clean and the bedding and towels were above the usual hotel standard. Nice little touches such as the complimentary sewing kit and nail care kit. The tea/coffee making supplies were plentiful. I had breakfast there for two of the days and there was a nice selection on the buffet table with hot meals cooked to order. Also ate in the bar one night and the food was excellent. I had one or two issues (of my own making!) that were quickly and efficiently taken care of by the lovely desk staff. My only suggestion to improve things would be to add a mini fridge to the room even if it's a small one just to store cold drinks/medication if needed and to add a washcloth to the towel selection! Overall this is a lovely hotel and I would recommend it to anyone.
Lovely Hotel With Great Views Overlooking The Sea, Modern Clean Room With Everything You Need To Make Your Stay Comfortable, Great Food & Bar, Little Thing Really But Just A Shame There Was Only 1 Sachet Of Hot Chocolate & 1 Packet Of Biscuits But 2 Cups In Your Room
A real surprise to find a three star hotel that's this good. Large rooms, well equipped, lovely toiletries, helpful staff STUNNING views from the excellent terrace. Gorleston upon sea is a real hidden Jem. Flawless beach.
Lovely Hotel always like to stay here.
