My stay was not very good. The staff were friendly enough. My room had lots of things wrong with it. I did not feel very safe in the neighborhood. The hallway smelled of marijuana and with me having my two children with me that made me very uncomfortable.

Not a good place.
The bedding had cigarette holes in it. The bed itself was bouncy and uncomfortable. There was a woman yelling and banging on a door in our hallway at 1:30am. Overall, didn't feel safe staying there and ended up checking out a day early.

Don't do it!
The hotel was pretty terrible. The most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept on, there was a leak in my bathroom ceiling, terrible repair jobs from previous leaks, could see the hallway through the gap around my door, no remote for my tv and the tv didn't have buttons to change the channel/volume, mini fridge was unplugged and had ketchup and mayo left from previous guest, and I could hear everything going on in all of the rooms around me (and they weren't even being loud). I left at 5am because I couldn't take the bed/noise any longer.

Average hotel close to Downtown
This hotel is not in the heart of downtown Raleigh but it's very close and a lot cheaper than the hotels there. Room was very average but the bathroom fan vent was directly above the toilet and it had yucky white stuff covering a good portion of it and it was leaking so every time you sat on the toilet it dripped down on you. UGH!!

You get what you pay for
We stayed there for location. Walking distance to downtown. Peeling wallpaper in bathroom. Big gaps in caulking. Dingy carpet. Usual breakfast of lower-chain hotels.
