Staff very friendly but hotel itself a little worn. We did receive clean towels but beds were not made when we returned around 5:30. No extra linens in room even set at coldest temp, room never felt cool.

Awful - stay someplace else
Dirty and run down. Beds are terribly hard and so were the pillows. Hair in the bathroom, sheets had holes and stains, towels were paper thin and stained. Definitely not worth the money. I woke up the next morning with back and neck aches.

Nice people, dirty hotel
The front desk folks were very friendly, but the hotel itself left a lot to be desired. It was inexpensive so I allow some concessions, but it was obvious it had been recently "renovated" by simply painting over stains on the ceiling and walls. They missed a spot though where it almost looked like someone had shot themselves over the bed. There was a reddish brown splatter on the ceiling that was a bit unnerving. The hot water in the sink and shower smelled like the heating element in their system was reacting with the water and releasing a sulphurous smell that encouraged us to skip the shower this morning, which we really wanted after seeing the painted over (and not!) stains and the couple long black hairs on the sheets. The sounds of the highway made falling asleep a bit laborious as well. The breakfast was adequate though, nothing to complain about as far as basic breakfast buffets go. Overall, I definitely would skip right by Temple and continue south Austin or stay in Waco in the future if I find myself in the area again.

We were barely there - about midnight to 11 am but in that time I have no complaints!
