An ok stay but could have been better. The hotel has a variety of offerings so was busy with golfing parties, families and spa guests. Not really a quiet getaway destination. Pros: Communal areas recently renovated Good gym and pool facilitites Room was quiet Lots of parking Friendly, helpful staff Cons: Some rooms are a very long walk from reception Room itself was dated and could have done with a good hoover Bathroom not as clean as it should be and in need of an update Pool area had lots of standing water by the end of the day and walk to changing rooms was waterlogged and dirty Surprised that a hotel of this size did not have any EV charging facilities

Stay was pleasant until we went for our breakfast which we were told on checking in it was until 11 o clock .we went for breakfast myself my husband and my grandson at 9.55 to which we were told it finishes at 10 but everything was cleared away.we got no satisfaction from the breakfast staff and when we complained at reception we’re told nobody had any authority to refund our breakfast.!!!after insisting they found someone in authority after 20minutes the receptionist came back saying they would give us £20 back.not even an apology from any manager!!

We enjoyed our second stay but this time bacon and mushrooms were cold as were the plates. You were busy so we didn’t complain as we don’t like a fuss. Everything else good.each stay we have endured a marathon walk to room....maybe shorter another time for two septuagenarians!!

It’s was overall not the best no kettle in room, one towel between two people, carpet around bed looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years and room was tidy but didn’t look too clean and swimming pool facilities only open till 7:30, however staff were very friendly and nice and bed was comfortable. Would rate a 6/10
