Nice but a little disappointing
The BW Cathedral Motor Inn was on the main street but we found it a little away from the restaurants. The place was clean and room spacious. Before arrival at Bendigo, I extended our stay over the phone for 2 nights. On arrival at the hotel at our request the receptionist allowed us just half hour late check-out (10.30am). However the following day the Manager took back the half hour and informed us that we needed to leave at 10.00am. This we found quite discourteous and perhaps as we were dark skinned asians! The half hour would have made a difference to us as we were 3 retirees on a break!
