Staff is horrible
First off, I travel for work and have constantly for over 20 years and this is the very first time that I have ever encountered this situation. Woke up 0600 and Ran over to the breakfast room to grab something for my wife n I. Room was full and we needed to get packed up n on down the road. Went to go back to my room with 1 muffin and 1 waffle (plain waffle - Nothing whatsoever on it..) and the front desk clerk threw a fit.!! Told me to take it back to the breakfast room n not to leave there with anything.! He was very rude about it as well. I don’t have time for that kind of BS so I threw it in the trash, went to my room packed up and was taking a shower so we could leave when the maid came into my room!! This was a little after 0800 and nowhere near checkout time!!??? By far the worst stat I’ve had in years….

Needing maintenance
Luckily it was inexpensive. The pool was closed for maintenance with 30 days over 100 degrees, it should have been open. The hotel is behind on maintenance. There were lots in our room that needed attention and should have been kept up. Pictures missing on the walls but the hardware was there. Torn shower curtain. Paint chips missing on walls. Needing painting. Only one light bulb in the 3 fixtures bathroom light. No bulbs in entry light or switch was broken. Furniture beat up. Cove base falling off.

Room had a strange odor. Our room overlooked the pool which was an eerie emerald green color. Not a nice view. The sheets were not very clean. The vanity in the bathroom had three light fixtures but only one bulb. It was just an overnight stay but we won't stay again and definitely would not recommend it.

Would not recommend
The men up front kept asking us for cash after we already reserved it. When we told them we didn't have cash, they said it was fine. The bed was broken. The floors were so gross we couldn't walk without shoes. The ceiling tiles in the hall were brown and leaking a liquid. The bathroom tiles were falling off.

Terrible place! Not worth it, pool looked to be permanently closed, breakfast is cereal & waffles and rooms are not clean. Didn’t expect a whole lot out of a $60 stay, but this should be rated as a motel with no pool!

It's a shame . . .
I've stayed at this hotel a number of times. Over time it has slowly deteriorated. When I pulled into the parking lot for this stay, it looked like it had gone out of business. The outside looks awful. The rooms are still clean but the noise and the overall decline has started to draw a less than favorable clientele. This will be my last stay here.
