Stanford Adjacent
I was attending a conference at Stanford. Best Western Plus Riviera, was clean and comfortable, and provided easy access to Stanford's campus. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and informative.

Warm, welcoming, but loud
The service at the Best Western Plus Riviera was great. The folks at the desk were very friendly and helpful. They checked in throughout the stay to make sure all was well. The location was also perfect (close to Stanford campus and walking distance to "town." The only downside to the facilities is the noise. Even with a room facing the rear of the building the road noise was quite loud. I could also hear loud footsteps from the room above. A good pair of earplugs (provided by the hotel) help but a light sleeper might have concerns.

Nice staff, clean room, near the street
All the staff were helpful. The room was clean. It’s a long but manageable walk to Palo Alto or Stanford. Basic breakfast bar, but I didn’t expect much else. The only drawback is the noise from the street, which is probably why they have free earplugs near the beds.

Convenient but noisy
Convenient location, but on a busy highway with lots of traffic noise. My rooms key malfunctioned twice necessitating the attendant to let me into my room each time.

Not worth the price
The location is good (although noisy) but the hotel needs some remodeling. The front desk person when we checked in was not friendly either. I wouldn't stay there again.
