Due to an uncle's unexpected death we had to get to Gettysburg in a hurry and needed a place to stay. Because this was move-in week for several colleges in the area this motel was the closest we could get to Gettysburg. Room was dated but reasonable and clean.

Room smelled and was dirty.
We booked a smoking room by mistake. They would not or could not change our room. They guy waiting on us did not speak english very well. We went to a dollar store and bought spray for the bad smell, a fan and disinfecting wipes. The table in the room was sticky and the shower curtain was dirty. We didn't sleep at all and checked out a day early. We didn't get our money back and we learned our lesson. We will never stay there again.

Stay.
The room was clean and basic. Access to local amenities good. When entering the courtyard area the exterior looks a bit run down. no breakfast meats or eggs. Good basic accomodations. I rebooked this stay to extend the next 3 days. Front desk Staff was very hospitable and welcoming.
