Pretty old mining town!
Doesn’t look like much on the outside; the place is an old motel, but nicely updated. Comfy bed w/ nice linens and very good lighting, probably the best we have seen in any motel. Clean and spacious room, great shower! Kitchenette was fine and only needed a larger bowl for cooking in the microwave. Bernie at check-in was very nice and helpful. No a/c ( needs to be updated to reflect this) but the night was cool enough that the fan provided and high ceilings sufficed. Thin walls-we were awakened by hearing people talking outside in early am. Queenstown is an old mining town with nice people, great views, a grocery store, bottle shop, and a bit of charm. Would stay here again if in the area.

wished I could stay longer
We have note stayed in 8 hotels during our 2 months in Australia. This is clearly the ni rest so far. We had only scheduled the one night on Queenstown...too bad. I would have enjoyed just hanging out in that nice room a few more days.

Good to have seen
Beautiful town but rather deserted with very little open. Nothing to do in town. Good for relaxation.

So your self a favor and stay here.
What a great cute hotel! If you’re in Queenstown, do yourself a favour and stay here. Checkin was a breeze, the guys checking us in (I didn’t catch his name) was so friendly and supremely helpful. The room was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. We stayed over Easter, and the Easter bunny left some chocolates at our door. I won’t stay anywhere else if I’m in Queenstown again.

Very clean and all you need. Good Place to stay for the night. Unfortunately you can hear everything the people stay in the next room.
